If you are starting to equip for regular woodworking, we recommend you choose a smoothing plane, a block plane and a rabbet plane. For the smoothing plane, we recommend the 220 or 260 Evolution N models depending on the grip you prefer.

This is the starting pack recommended by and for professionals. Spare blades are supplied with these planes. 

Proposal II – To get fully equipped

If you are a professional or a demanding amateur and want to equip yourself with all the top tools, we recommend you to choose a RALI case with the best tools for intensive woodworking. You will be able to use the full potential of all the tools for planing, chiseling, scraping, sawing and peeling. The 2 settings of the planes as well as the blade replacement take only a few seconds and allow you to work with all kinds of wood with the same tools.

Proposal II – To get fully equipped

If you are a professional/enthusiast and you want to equip yourself with top of the range planes, we recommend the 260 Evolution N case, the ideal configuration for working all types of wood (soft, medium and hard). Your planes with the 3 ultra-simple settings will always be operational and will not need any sharpening. The number of chrome and tungsten blades supplied will give you years of quiet work.

If your professional or recreational activity requires the occasional use of hand planes, we recommend that you choose these two lightweight planes. They are both complementary and will fulfill your needs for a large part of your woodwork. This pack is often used by our professionals on outdoor work sites to avoid sharpening problems and accidents during planing operations. Only one adjustment on these planers (depth) of the Monobloc range.

Proposal II – To get fully equipped

This is the case that our professional customers use for very occasional work and on outdoor sites. The Systainer case allows them to clip their equipment together with other cases when traveling. The planes are lighter, with only one adjustment and the blade replacement in seconds, so that craftsmen don’t have to waste time when the tools are no longer sharp. Simply flip the blade over. Sharpening operations are no longer necessary.
